BUFFALO RAPIDS IRRIGATION DISTRICT NO. 2

The Special Meeting of the members of the Buffalo Rapids Irrigation District No. 2 at Terry, Prairie County, Montana, was held on the eighth day of February, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.
There were present and participating at the meeting:
Barry Rakes
Lance Kalfell
Scott Sackman
Also present and participating were: Raymond Strasheim, Secretary,
Pat Davis, Treasurer, Gary Bunke via telephone.
President Barry Rakes called the meeting to order, stating that all necessary and advisable business be conducted during this time and that notice had been received by each Board Member.
Thereupon, President Barry Rakes announced that legal notice had been given and a quorum was present so that the meeting was legally and lawfully ready to transact business.
The members of the Buffalo Rapids Irrigation District No. 2 board conferred, via telephone, with Mr. Gary Bunke, attorney at law, concerning issues with the Shirley Fish Screen Project. Mr. Bunke advised the Board to contact the fish screen manufacturer, Intralox, in writing concerning any issues that they may have. Ray Strasheim and Mr. Bunke will work together on correspondence with Intralox.
Ray Strasheim will contact David Pratt from the NRCS to help in calculating if the fish screen will allow enough water to flow through the screens at low river levels without cavitation of the pumps at the Shirley Pumping Plant.
The meeting was adjourned on a motion by Lance Kalfell, seconded by Scott Sackman. All in Favor. Motion Carried.
